Note: I start my prayers with God. I'm not really sure about how this thing called God works....I don't wish to start any controversy, though. Please forgive me if I have offended anyone.
also, I don't know if I should use real names here or just initials, I will use initials until I have clarity.
God, please help B.M., a little guy of four with brain cancer, to find peace and joy in life, amongst all the tests and probing, medications and scanning. Please bring peace to his mother and father and family, I know they must be suffering as well. Please bring angels to help them.
Please bring help to my friend N.O. She has a rare form of cancer and is seeking out a second opinion. Please help her make the right choice for herself. Please rally people around her to help relieve her suffering and that of her husband and family.
Please help my friend E.O. She is a wonderful single mother. Her children are her life. She works so hard and tries so hard, but it always seem like the world is falling apart around her. She keeps her spirit up and cares so much about others. Please bring her the help she needs so that she can continue to care for her children.
God, please help my friend T.J. He is lonely. He needs your help.
Please help anyone who is suffering from illness and/or addiction. Please bring them the help they need.
God, please help others learn to ask for help. Sometimes we just don't know what they need. They keep their thoughts inside. When they do this, we do not know they are suffering, its hard for us to help.
Please help my friends who have lost their children. It seems children should outlive their parents, but this is not always the case. Please bring them peace and comfort. Please bring people to their lives to help relieve their suffering.
God, please help me make decisions when someone asks for my help, sometimes saying YES causes suffering. I have realized that suffering does not relive suffering. Help me, please.
Thank you.
in gratitude,
Jill
