Asking for help

We have all heard of the power of prayer, but how do we REALLY know its working?

We don't, we really don't know anything.

Nothing is permanent.  Everything changes. People get sick. people die. People everywhere are suffering.

What can we do?

Ask for help.

Asking for help is hard, we want to appear strong.

It actually takes great strength to surrender that you JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO sometimes....

Maybe no one does.  Maybe things are exactly the way they are supposed to be?

Children with cancer?  How can that be the way its supposed to be?

Stop fighting with the uncontrollable and surrender.

Instead of being angry, lets focus on where the suffering is REALLY occurring. THE CHILD WITH CANCER.

He/she lies in a bed suffering while we become "angry with the world, angry with God"

What good does that really do?

How about we ask for help?

"Angels (or a higher power of your choice), please help me relieve this child's suffering"  "Please help me relieve his parents suffering" "Please help me relieve my own suffering"

We are on this earth to help each other.

If no one suffered, we would never have a chance to help.

No one is promised a suffering free life.

NO ONE.

Once we can accept this, we can move on to the task of living.

Angels are everywhere, waiting to be asked to help. Up above or down here below. I hefaith in this, because it has worked for me.

I suffer from non-hodgkins lymphoma, its an incurable blood cancer.  People say they pray for me.  I say, "its working!"

I truly believe it is!

Why look! here I am, alive and well and typing this blog to you!

I recently posted a message on my Facebook page, asking for letters to be written to cheer up a little boy of four who is suffering with brain cancer....he is very sick, and very tired.

Yes, we can sit in our anger (That's not fair!) or we can DO SOMETHING!

We can ask for help.

I asked for help from my friends and we now have 33 people from all over the world wanting to help.(Hopefully this number will grow).

PEOPLE ARE ANGELS!

If you are reading this and one of them, THANK YOU!

(If you are reading this and want to help, please let me know).

I decided to start a prayer blog.  As there are people suffering everywhere.

I recently started writing my prayers instead of saying them to myself.  Ive now decided to make  prayers public Why keep them to myself?

Someone out there just might be able to help someone else.

I would like for you to add your prayers to this blog...I very much believe in the power of prayer.

The more of us praying, the better, I'm absolutely certain.

You don't have to be religious to pray, folks....

praying is merely "asking for help" (I could be wrong, but its my belief, take it or leave it).

Get out there and look for someone who is suffering and could use your prayers....come back here and post about it.

Relieve you own suffering of powerlessness...and anger.

Thank you for taking time to read this.

in gratitude,

Jill

I am more and more convinced that our happiness or unhappiness depends far more on the way we meet the events of life, than on the nature of those events themselves. ~ Alexander Von Humboldt
